Ryu

Born in 1995, Tokyo. Ryu is a DJ and event organizer. He began his career in Kagoshima and is now active in Tokyo and Osaka, performing regularly at various DJ bars and clubs.
He describes his love for 70s-80s music with DJ, and his style is centered around Balearic/Nu Disco, with a wide-ranging repertoire.
Since 2023, Ryu has expanded his reach, performing in several Asian countries, including Indonesia, China, South Korea, and the Philippines.
Through his own organized events, he has invited key figures from the Asian dance music scene on his own, such as Munir (Midnight
Runners), Kimoji, and Romain FX, fostering a borderless and inclusive community.
And these days his organizational capability has been evaluated, so he brought Felipe Gordon from Colombia as his first gig in Japan,
and YUSEK from France in Osaka.
Now he is one of the best organizers who invites artists from overseas in young generation in Japan.

1995年東京生まれのDJ,　Organizer。
鹿児島でキャリアをスタートさせ、現在東京・大阪を中心に様々なDJ bar, clubを拠点に活動する。
特に70〜80年代の音楽を愛し、Balearic/Nu Discoを軸にジャンル幅広く、且つシームレスに展開していくのが彼のスタイルである。
2023年以降インドネシアをはじめ、中国、韓国、フィリピンといったアジア諸国をツアーで周り、ファンを着実に増やしている。
自身のオーガナイズするパーティーでは、Munir (MidnightRunners)、Kimoji、Romain FXといったアジアダンスミュージックシーンにお
ける重要人物を招聘し、そのボーダーレスなコミュニティを拡げている。
また直近ではそのオーガナイズ能力が話題を呼び、ジャジーハウスの筆頭Felipe Gordonの初来日ギグやフレンチ・エレクトロのYUKSEK大阪ギグのパーティーメイクも務めた。
