Join us at the Ace Hotel on April 22 for an immersive opening night of Angela Jones’ immersive installation from 7-10pm. Beginning with a sound bath led by Kia Islam in the gallery, an introduction by Angela to Womb Portal with an ambient audio track to play over the photographic work, followed by a live harp performance in the lobby by Princesa and a Dj set by Ss.Sylver to close. Come ready to be transported.

As part of Earth Day Month, Sunshine Juice, a cold-pressed juice specialty shop that is kind to both the body and the planet, will be offering fresh, nutrient-dense juices made from carefully selected ingredients. The event will also feature a live composting demonstration using juice pulp and coffee grounds from Stumptown Coffee Roasters. Artist Installation by Angela Jones at Gallery
Ace Hotel is honored to feature Angela Jones aka Image Atlas, an Australian artist, based in New York. Her work is a process of alchemy in which she works with photochemistry to create powerful portraits that are a witness to her subjects in moments of transition and transformation. Her immersive installation in our gallery space is a departure into, and a process of, imagining and building new worlds, together with her collaborators, with a strong focus on womanhood.
